How You Should Display Pearls in the Jewellery Shop

Many of you want to attract your customers with an amazing display of pearl jewellery in your shop.

Here in this post we are providing few important tips to display your pearl bracelet and other pearl jewelleries for selling them, and also to protect them when they are in the shop.

Some key information

Those pearls which have been bleached (usually most of the pearls that are white pearls in the shop) must be the ones exposed to direct UV light. In fact, this is one of the methods of bleaching pearls.

Other pearls which are not bleached must be kept further away from direct sunlight, because constant exposure to light for a long time may bleach them.

Display all your eye-catching pearl pieces in the window. Most of the shops put a large nucleated type of pearl necklace near the window as ‘eye-catcher’ or as a discussion point.

Customers may not purchase the piece immediately but it can get them near the threshold and your mission is accomplished.

Regularly clean them by using soft moist cloth. Need not to use soap or water. Little dust may come off easily by using soft cloth. Wetting them may just shorten their shelf-life. Also, keep all your pearls away from chemicals that may harm the pearl’s integrity and can reduce the lustre.

Ask your shop staff to wear pearls

They too will like this idea. The skin oil is good for your pearl (ask them not to spray perfume or let any make-up dirty them); they will act as model for your goods.

Put them on

Try to insist your customer to wear one necklace on the neck particularly a large piece. This will look ravishing on the counter and your customer will be tempted to buy one.

Train your staff

There are many jewellery shops that organise training about the pearl. In case, you are interested then you can send your staff to get trained about the variety and quality of pearls.

This will be useful to explain your customers the quality of different type of pearls and also can help you to boost up your sales.
